David Hewat

David Hewat (23 January 1866 – 2 February 1959) was a New Zealand cricketer active from 1887 to 1890 who played for Wellington. Hewat appeared in four first-class matches as an unknown-handed player. Hewat was born in Oamaru, Otago, New Zealand on 23 January 1866 and died in Wellington, New Zealand on 2 February 1959. Hewat scored 18 runs, once he reached the 12 score and took 27 wickets.[1]
