David Laxton is a Canadian politician, who was elected to in the Yukon Legislative Assembly in the 2011 election.[1] He represents the electoral district of Porter Creek Centre.

Elected as a member of the Yukon Party caucus, he left the party on May 10, 2016 due to an allegation of sexual harassment, and currently sits as an independent.[2]

In the 2006 election, he ran as a Yukon Liberal Party candidate in the same district, but finished second behind Archie Lang of the Yukon Party.
