David Woods (born 10 March 1970) is an Australian professional rugby league footballer of the 1980s, '90s and 2000s, playing at representative level for Country New South Wales, and at club level for Parramatta Eels, Wakefield Trinity (captain) (Heritage #1044), Penrith Panthers and Halifax, as a Fullback, Wing, Centre, or Five-eighth/Stand-off, i.e. number 1, 2 or 5, 3 or 4, or 6.[1]

David Woods played as a Interchange/Substitute, and scored a try in Country New South Wales' 8-16 defeat by City New South Wales in the 1995 City vs Country Origin match at Wollongong Showground, Wollongong on Friday 5 May 1995, and played as a Centre, i.e. number 3 in Country New South Wales' 18-16 victory over City New South Wales in the 1995 City vs Country Origin match at Wollongong Showground, Wollongong on Friday 3 May 1996.
