DaySide is an American news/talk show on the Fox News Channel, which aired weekdays at 1:00 p.m. ET. Unlike most news channel programs, it had an live audience giving reaction throughout the program, similar to the CNN show TalkBack Live.
Linda Vester hosted the show until July 2005, when she left on a one-year maternity leave, but did not return. Mike Jerrick and Juliet Huddy hosted until they began preparing for The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet on FOX O&O stations. The Live Desk with Martha MacCallum replaced Dayside soon after the last show on September 22, 2006.[1] In June 2008 since the show gone The Live Desk produced two hours (1-3 p.m.) to replace America's Pulse, with Trace Gallagher becoming co-host with MacCallum.
