Debre Markos University (DMU) is a public University located in the town of Debre Markos, Ethiopia. The university is located two kilometers from the central square of the town. Construction for it started in 1997 E.C/2005 as one of the thirteen universities which were established by the federal democratic republic government of Ethiopia.
