Deepak Dhawan ( ਦੀਪਕ ਧਵਨ / दीपक धवन ) was the General secretary of Punjab (India) unit of Communist Party of India (Marxist).[1] On 19 May 1987, he was killed by the Khalistan movement extremists at village Sangha, Tarn Taran district.[1][2]
