Dharmapuri Srinivas is an Indian politician belonging to the Telangana Rashtra Samithi.[1] He is the former President of Andhra Pradesh Congress Party PCC[2] and Ex-MLA of State Assembly.Also worked with different portfolio's in state cabinet of Andhra pradesh. Played key role to bring back congress party government in 2004 and 2009 in A.p. Good reputation with high command in new delhi and known as key strategic BC leader. He is popularly known as DS and dyanamic leader.Being true follower of High command.He is nephew of former finance minister ARGUL RAJARAM of A.P. state.Lost the elections in 2009, 2012 to BJP and 2014 to TRS PARTY respectively.On 2 July 2015 he resigned for congress party.[3]
Early life
D. Srinivas was born in Nizamabad. He did his graduation from Nizam College, Hyderabad. He was elected as MLC in 2011 October.
Personal life
D. Srinivas is married and he has two sons. Elder son Sanjay is ex-Mayor of Nizamabad and younger son Arvind (Business).
