Diplotaxis gracilis is a species of aster flowers that belong to the Brassicaceae family. The species are endemic in Cape Verde.[1] The plant was named by Otto Eugen Schulz in 1916.

Its local name of the species is called mostarda-brabo (wild mustard).[1] Another related plant is Diplotaxis glauca; found on the island of Sal.

Distribution and ecology

Diplotaxis gracilis are founded only in the island of São Nicolau in the elevation between 600 and 1,200 meters.[1]
