Do It Amazing is the debut studio album by South Korean girl group DIA which was released on September 14, 2015 by MBK Entertainment.
Background and release
In late-July 2015, MBK Entertainment was originally announced that will be debuting new girl group called DIA on August 2015,[1] but was pushed back on September 2015.
The teaser music video for the title track Somehow was released on August 24. The song was composed by Shinsadong Tiger, which genre is 'Hip-hop beat song'. MBK Entertainment announced that DIA will be debuting on September 14.[2]
On September 10, MBK Entertainment announced that DIA will be release first full album Do It Amazing, which composed of ten tracks and the title track Somehow will be release on Chinese version, acoustic version and instruments. Their album is produced by Shinsadong Tiger, Monster Factory, and Bigtone, and lyrics are written by Microdot, Sanchez, and actor Hyunwoo. DIA Members Seunghee and Cathy also took part in composing some songs.[3][4]
On September 14, The album was released digitally and physically by MBK Entertainment.[5] On September 17, DIA release three music video for Somehow 'Drama Version' , I Wanna Listen To Music and Lean On Me. The music video was filmed in Hong Kong and Macau.[6]
On October 20, DIA release new digital single My Friend's Boyfriend, as part of their debut album.
Promotions
DIA held a debut showcase at the Ilchi Art Hall in Seoul on September 14 and performed the album track.[7]
The group made their debut stage on September 17 on Mnet's M Countdown,[8] followed by performances on KBS' Music Bank, MBC's Show! Music Core and SBS's Inkigayo.
The group return to promotion new track "My Friend's Boyfriend" on October 20 on SBS The Show, followed followed by performances on MBC's Show Champion, Mnet's M Countdown, KBS' Music Bank, MBC's Show! Music Core and SBS's Inkigayo.[9]
