Doddle Parcels
Doddle Parcels (Doddle Parcel Services Ltd) is a parcel store network that allows customers to send and receive parcels in their dedicated stores at railway stations, commuter hubs and university campuses around the UK.[1]
History
Doddle launched in October 2014 as a joint venture between Network Rail and Travelex founder Lloyd Dorfman.[2] Doddle has partnerships with over 25 retail partners including Amazon, ASOS, Missguided, River Island and New Look to extend the range of click and collect delivery options available to customers.[3] It currently has 68 stores as of 2 October 2016, from Glasgow to Brighton.[4]
Services
- Collections: instead of delivering a parcel to a home or business address, you can have it sent to a Doddle store and collect it at a time that's convenient for you. Most Doddle stores are open seven days a week, early until late.
- Returns: you can return items, such as online orders, at Doddle. If the item was bought from one of Doddle's retail partners, sending the return might be free of charge.
- Sends: you can send parcels within the UK and internationally at any Doddle store.[5]
Doddle Runner
Doddle launched its Runner service in August 2015. The app based service works by customers taking a picture of the item(s) they would like to send, which are then collected by a Runner who will take care of packaging, tracking and next day, best price UK delivery. The service is currently available in central London.[6]
Doddle Neighbour
Doddle's Neighbour service was launched in October 2015 and is currently trialled in Haywards Heath and Bromley South. As an extension of its store-based services, Doddle Neighbours allow customers to collect and send parcels from their homes.[7]
