Dominic Littlewood (born 29 March 1965) is a British television presenter and journalist who specialises in consumer affairs. He is best known for his roles with BBC and Channel 5, presenting programmes such as Fake Britain, Cowboy Builders, Saints and Scroungers and Don't Get Done, Get Dom.[1]
Early life
From 1976 to 1981, Littlewood attended St Thomas More High School for Boys, Westcliff-on-Sea. Littlewood was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in his teenage years, and takes insulin to keep his diabetes under control.[2]
Career
Television
In 2007, Littlewood took part in the BBC One's Strictly Come Dancing. Since 2010, he has co-presented Cowboy Builders on Channel 5. From 2010 to 2012, he presented Fake Britain on the BBC, but was replaced by Matt Allwright. In 2012, Littlewood presented the Postcode Lottery draws on Channel 5. Beginning on 27 January 2015, Littlewood hosted a three-part series on ITV called Bad Builders: Bang to Rights.[3] In the late 1980s Dom unsuccessfully auditioned for the role of Baldrick in the BBC comedy Blackadder. He has appeared in other television shows including To Buy or Not to Buy, Holiday and The One Show.[1] Dom is good friends with Hollywood actors, Stephen and Alec Baldwin.
Other work
Littlewood was first seen on TV as a contestant on the BBC dating show The Other Half.[4] He contributes to the Top Gear Magazine and has written pieces for the Motoring section of The Daily Telegraph.

Personal life
Littlewood broke his C5 vertebra in his neck in an accident in Australia, which required recovery in a Jordan frame in both Rockhampton, Queensland and Southend-on-Sea.[6]
