Don Nelson Laramore

Don Nelson Laramore (December 22, 1906 – August 9, 1989) was a United States federal judge.

Born in Starke County, Indiana, Laramore studied law at the predecessor of the now Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law and the University of Chicago. He was an official court reporter for the Starke Circuit Court of Indiana from 1925 to 1936. He was an attorney in the claims departments of the Nickel Plate Railroad, Pennsylvania Railroad and New York Central Railroad from 1936 to 1942.

Laramore was a judge to the Starke Circuit Court of Indiana from 1942 to 1954. President Dwight D. Eisenhower commissioned him as an Associate Judge on the United States Court of Claims, where he served from 1954 to 1982, assuming senior status in 1972. On October 1, 1982, Laramore was reassigned by operation of law to the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. His service terminated upon his death.
