Drew Ferguson is a former Canadian soccer player born November 9, 1957 in Powell River, British Columbia.

Club career

Ferguson received initial attention during the 1977 Canada Games where he scored in the final championship game. He started his North American Soccer League career with a single appearance for the Vancouver Whitecaps in 1978, but went on to appear in 80 games for the Edmonton Drillers from 1979 to 1982.[1]

Ferguson would go on to play for such teams as the Hamilton Steelers of the Canadian Soccer League and the Cleveland Force/Cleveland Crunch of the Major Indoor Soccer League.

International career

Ferguson did not make his first appearance for the Canadian national soccer team until he was 27 years old with a 2-1 win over Trinidad and Tobago in 1985.

Managerial career

Since retiring as a player, Ferguson has served as the head coach for the Kitchener Spirit of the Canadian Soccer League from 1990–1991,[2] and for Canada's Cerebral Palsy (CP-ISRA) 7-a-side squad at the 2005 and 2007 World Championship.[3]
