Dukakinzade Ahmed Pasha

For other people named Ahmed Pasha, see Ahmed Pasha (disambiguation).

Dukakinoğlu Ahmed Pasha (Turkish: Dukakinoğlu Ahmed Paşa; died March 1515) was an Ottoman statesman, serving as Grand Vizier of the Ottoman Empire from 1512 to 1515 of Albanian origin. He hailed from the Sanjak of Albania, with his prefix implying descendance of the Dukagjini family (dukakinoğlu - "son-of-Dukagjin").[1] He was brought up in the Ottoman system by way of devşirme.

His son, Dukakinzade Mehmed Pasha, was the governor of the Egypt Eyalet from 1544 to 1546, until he was executed.[2]
