Duru

Duru is one of the five villages that makes up Duru ward in Babati district in Manyara Region. Thus, name Duru is also name of the administrative ward. therefore, Duru is an administrative ward in the Babati District of the Manyara Region of Tanzania. The ward comprises five villages: Hoshan, Duru, Gesbert, Yarotonik and Endagwe. The headquarters of the ward is located in Endagw village. According to the 2002 census, the ward has a total population of 9,686.[1]
