Dynamsoft is a privately held software company headquartered in Vancouver. Dynamsoft provides a line of document imaging SDKs and version control tools.

History

The company was founded in Sep 2003. Dynamsoft stands for an ISV (independent software vendor) aiming to be the dynamic solutions provider for software developers.

The key area of Dynamsoft’s development and research is document imaging and version control. The products, such as Dynamic Web TWAIN, are designed to simplify the document scanning process for web application developers.

In 2005, Dynamsoft became Microsoft Certified Partner status.

In 2011, Dynamsoft joined the TWAIN Working Group and has since been an associate member of TWAIN working group.

Products

Dynamsoft provides a line of TWAIN scanning and document imaging SDKs. These SDKs allow developers to easily integrate TWAIN scanning, DirectShow webcam capture, barcode and OCR recoginition into their web and desktop document management applications.

Dynamic Web TWAIN: A browser-based TWAIN scanning SDK for embedding document scanning and uploading to web applications. Supports all mainstream browsers on Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Dynamsoft Webcam SDK: A browser-based webcam SDK for embedding webcam capture to web applications. Supports all mainstream browsers on Windows. Supports working with all UVC webcams.
Dynamic .NET TWAIN: A .NET wrapper for TWAIN and DirectShow Webcam Capture. Enable easy and quick development of document scanning/webcam capture and image saving in C# / VB.NET.
Barcode Reader SDK: Provide C, C++, ActiveX / COM and .NET APIs to detect and read barcode symbols from image files. Windows, Mac, Linux and Mobile editions are available.
OCR SDK: Convert scanned images to searchable text/PDF files.
PDF Rasterizer SDK: Convert vector-based PDF files to raster images (JPEG, TIF, PDF, PNG etc.) for viewing and printing.
PDF Annotation SDK: Add annotations to PDF documents.

SourceAnywhere: A SQL Server based version control tool designed as a replacement for MS Visual SourceSafe. The hosting version is provided with the same set of features.
