The Eastern Institute for Integrated Learning in Management (EIILM) is a private educational institution located in South Sikkim district in the Indian state of Sikkim. EIILM is run by Rai Foundation.[1][2]

Established by Gujarat State Legislature under Gujarat Act No. 12 of 2012, Rai University provides management courses educational Institutes chain of franchisee.

EIILM University, Sikkim, India is fully recognized and approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is established under Sikkim State Legislature Act No 4, 2006 Government of Sikkim. The Act received assent of the Governor on March 24, 2006 that was published under the Government of Sikkim, Gazette Notification No. 28/LD/2006 dated April 3, 2006.

Overview

The institute was established in 1995 to provide higher education. In 1999, the institute started offering Master of Business Administration through Visva-Bharati. EIILM became a constituent college of Visva-Bharati University, and later a university in Sikkim.

Campus

Jorethang Campus: Jorethang is a major town in South Sikkim.The town is situated at an altitude of about 300m above sea level and has a temperate climate. Jorethang lies on the Rangeet River, a tributary of the River Teesta. It lies on the way to Pelling from Darjeeling, Siliguri and Kalimpong. The town is well connected by roads. The EIILMU campus at Jorethang conducts various programs under different departments of Business Administration, Social Sciences, Media, Hospitality and Tourism. Education and Research are the twin pillars of this campus and the ambience is one in which new ideas and creativity can flourish.

Malabassey Campus: An island of dappled green, the campus at Malabassey in West Sikkim is nestled amongst hills. The Technical Departments-of Biotechnology and Environmental Sciences, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Sciences and IT are offering Graduate and Post- Graduate programs. The campus is exceptional both in terms of its physical beauty and infrastructure, which is of “Gurukul Style'. A multi-storied complex with Auditorium, Conference cum Seminar Hall, Audio Visual Recording room and other facilities is under construction. It is a place where one is away from the world, yet a part of it.
