Eiffage is a French construction company.
History
The company was formed in 1992 through the merger of several companies: Fougerolle (founded 1844), Quillery (founded 1863), Beugnet (founded 1871), and La Societe Auxiliaire d' Enterprises Electriques et de Travaux Public, better known as SAE (founded in 1924).
Major projects
Recent projects have included the Channel Tunnel completed in 1994,[3] the Copenhagen Metro completed in 2002,[4] the Millau Viaduct completed in 2004[5] and the LGV Perpignan-Figueres high-speed railway line completed in 2009.[6]
