Einstein's Little Homunculus
Einstein's Little Homunculus is an American traditional folk band that primarily performs arrangements of jigs and reels from the British Isles, as well as some original songs. They have been compared to Fairport Convention. The band's members are as follows:
- Tich Cownie on fiddle and vocals
- Paul Crook on mandolin, guitar, bass, accordion, and vocals
- Sue Gedutis Lindsay on pennywhistles, alto and baritone saxophones, flute and vocals
- Carol Laliberté DeLorenzo on pennywhistles, low D whistle, recorder, soprano saxophone and vocals
- Rob Rudin on bodhrán, bones, dumbek, washboard, cocktail drums and vocals
- Eric Mumpower on clarinet, bass clarinet, and baritone saxophone
A sixth member, Derek Gross, died of cancer in 1996.
