Elisa Anne Schwartz (born June 30, 1984), known professionally as Elisa Jordana, is an American radio personality, musician, writer, and online talk show host. She is best known for her appearances on The Howard Stern Show and as a former member of the dance-pop band, Cobra Starship.

Education

Elisa Jordana studied in Radio, Television, and Digital Communications at Connecticut School of Broadcasting,[1] the same school fellow former Howard Stern staff member Artie Lange attended.[2]

Music

Jordana was an original member of the dance-pop band Cobra Starship as a keytarist and backup singer. After two years in the band, she broke free to make an attempt at a solo career, launching songs such as Fuck You, I'm Fine and Online Sweetheart.

Radio

Jordana first made her debut on The Howard Stern Show in November 2011.[3] She was interviewed by Howard Stern about her relationship with the head writer of the show, Benjy Bronk. Elisa's interview was well received by staff members and audience alike, and she's been welcomed back in studio nearly a dozen times since then for interviews, games, and musical performances. On top of that, she was awarded the title of Miss Howard Stern in May 2012.

Elisa was also hired as a writer for The Howard Stern Show for 4 years starting in late 2011 before being let go due to salary cuts.

Online Talk Show Host

Once she left the The Howard Stern Show, Elisa created her own talk show titled, Kermit and Friends. She debuted the show on the now defunct website Spreecast in February 2015 and had a successful 297-episode run that spanned over 15 months. The show was featured on The Howard Stern Show and received praise from talk show host, Jimmy Kimmel.[4]

Writer

After writing comedy for close to 5 years and having a successful stint as a writer for The Howard Stern Show, Elisa started to take a more serious tone in her writing and became a student of New York Times Best Selling Author Susan Shapiro. She has had columns featured in The Washington Post,[5] XOJane,[6] and Marie Claire.[7]

Film

In 2016, Elisa made her film debut in the SyFy original motion picture Sharknado: The 4th Awakens, along with her beloved dog, Kermit.[8]
