The Spanish pond turtle or Mediterranean turtle (Mauremys leprosa) is a species of turtle in the family Geoemydidae.
Subspecies
Distribution
It is naturally distributed in Spain, Portugal, France, Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia, and it has been introduced into Italy.[3]
