Eric Ratz is a JUNO Award winning Producer, Engineer and Mixer with over 20 years of experience. Ratz received his first break in the music business in his early 20s when he was awarded the "Chief Engineer" position at Phase One Studios, in Toronto. Ratz has worked with many of the Canadian music industry's most successful and influential rock artists/bands including Billy Talent,[1] Big Wreck,[2] Monster Truck,[3][4] Arkells,[5] Big Sugar,[6] Danko Jones[7] and Cancer Bats.[8] Most recently, Ratz was nominated for the Jack Richardson Producer of the Year Award and Recording Engineer of the Year Award at the 2014 and 2015 JUNO Awards for his work on Monster Truck's 'Furiosity' album (2014), Arkells' 'High Noon' album (2015) and Big Wreck's 'Ghosts' album (2015). He was awarded Recording Engineer of the Year both years.[9][10]
