Erion Xhafa (born 31 May 1982) is a defender for the Albanian national football team. He plays for the club KF Tirana .
He started his career with Dinamo Tirana youth team, and played for Erzeni Shijak for one year, then back to Dinamo Tirana until 2007. He is 6'0" tall and is right footed.Summer of 2007 he was transferred to Sk Tirana team that was the holder of the championship title,and the best team of Albania in the last 17 years. Erion Xhafa is the son of Gani Xhafa one of the veterans of Albanian soccer Team Dinamo Tirana and the Albanian National Team remembered for his great performance against some of the best teams of Europe like Ajax on that heroic game 17 Nendori Tirana - Ajax 2-2 (0-1 ), European Cup for National championships, first round Tirana, Wednesday 16 September 1970.
