Ernest George Meers (1848, Ashford, Kent;[2] 20 August 1928, York) was an English tennis player.

Tennis career

Meers played at the Wimbledon Championships between 1890 and 1895, reaching the quarterfinals of the all-comers competition in 1894 and the semifinals in 1895.[3] He reached the semifinals of the U.S. National Championships in 1889 and won the British Covered Court Championships in 1892.[4]

He was ranked World No. 5 for 1888 by Karoly Mazak.[1]
