Ernst Friedrich Emil Böhm (23 February 1916 – 2 April 1987) was a highly decorated Hauptmann in the Luftwaffe during World War II. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Ernst Böhm was captured by British troops in May 1945 and was released in 1946.
