Euchaetes zella is a moth of the family Erebidae. It was described by Dyar in 1903. It is found in Arizona,[1] California, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.[2]

The wingspan is about 26 mm.

Larvae have been recorded feeding on Philibertia heterophylla and Asclepias species. Full-grown larvae reach a length of 25 mm. Pupation takes place in a dense oval cocoon incorporating larval hairs.[3]
