Euro-orphan
Euro-orphan - a child whose parent or parents emigrated to a country member of the European Union without the child because of economic reasons. Sometimes therapeutic or psychiatric care is needed. [1] The EU supports family reunification. [2] Migrating families are sometimes divided by local child services (Jugendamt). [3]
