The European Center for Constitutional and Human Rights (ECCHR; German: Europäisches Zentrum für Verfassungs- und Menschenrechte) is an independent, nonprofit legal organization that enforces human rights by holding state and non-state actors responsible for egregious abuses through innovative strategic litigation.[1] The ECCHR was founded in Berlin in 2007 by current General Secretary Wolfgang Kaleck together with a group of international lawyers.
