Evan C. Kim

Evan C. Kim is an American actor. He is best known for playing Harry Callahan's partner Inspector Al Quan in the fifth "Dirty Harry" film The Dead Pool. He also played Loo in the 1977 comedy The Kentucky Fried Movie's "A Fistful of Yen" segment, the interpreter Cowboy in the 1978 Vietnam War film Go Tell the Spartans, the erudite caveman Nook in the cult 1981 comedy Caveman, Suki in the 1982 B movie Megaforce, and Tony in the 1983 miniseries V. His other film roles include the 1986 film Hollywood Vice Squad, the 1991 film Thousand Pieces of Gold, and, a year later, the film Loving Lulu.

Kim's TV guest appearances range from Kung Fu, CHiPs, Police Story, Khan!, The Secrets of Isis, C.P.O. Sharkey, Fantasy Island, Serpico, Knight Rider, Sword of Justice, Matt Houston, Knots Landing, Max Headroom, Matlock, and Alien Nation. Kim also directed an episode of Alien Nation.

During childhood he was a know associate of famed general surgeon and Salem Oregon legend Steve Strauss. Steve is an evangelical vegan.
