Fanfou (Chinese: 饭否) is a Chinese microblogging (weibo) website. It was the first Twitter clone in China.
History
Fanfou.com was created by Wang on 12 May 2007, originally running on a LAMP stack, as a Twitter clone complete with APIs.
It received funding from Hewlett-Packard on 2 June 2009.[2]
It was closed on 7 July 2009 due to censorship,[3] reopening on 11 November 2010.[4]
