Five Days from Home is a 1979 American drama film directed by and starring George Peppard, with Sherry Boucher, Savannah Smith, Neville Brand, Victor Campos, and Robert Donner.

Peppard made the film with a lot of his own money. He says it cost $1 million and he eventually sold it for $1,250,000 so he managed to repay his investors within nine months of the film's release.[1]
