Philagrius (prefect of Egypt)
Flavius Philagrius (c. 295 – aft. 340 CE) was a Roman politician.
Biography
Philagrius was a native of Cappadocia and probably of Greek descent.
Philagrius was Prefect of Egypt twice, initially between 335 and 337, and subsequently between 338 and 340 CE.[1]
Philagrius married and had a son, Flavius Eparchius Philagrius.
