Forget What You Know is the third studio album, and fourth overall release, by New Jersey rock band Midtown.
Release
"Give It Up" was released to radio on May 18, 2004.[1] The album was their first released by a major record company after leaving their long-time home, the indie label Drive-Thru Records. It was released by Columbia Records on June 29, 2004. Between mid June and mid August, the group went on the 2005 edition of Warped Tour.[2] "Sister Golden Hair", a cover of the America song recorded during the album's sessions, was released in November 2006.[3]
The title is taken, directly or indirectly, from a George Herbert quote.
