Francisco "Paco" Arcos Arcos (born 16 December 1974 in Ibi, Province of Alicante) is a Spanish football manager currently in charge of the physical trainer and assistant manager of Alicante CF, and coordinator of youth football at club. Arcos became the first Spanish trainer to train in Russian football.[1]

Club career

Arcos started training school teams in his hometown, Ibi. Later came to train in youth football at Peña Madridista of Ibi. Signed as a Hajduk physical trainer the hand of Zoran Vulić. After the departure of Vulić, continued on the team with Sergije Krešić and Robert Jarni.[2] Zoran Vulić took him to FC Luch-Energiya Vladivostok such as physical trainer. Arcos signed a contract for 3 years.[3] He became the team manager when Leonid Nazarenko was sacked in May 2009. Arcos became the first Spanish trainer to train in Russian football.[1] He led the team in the relegation zone and left him in a respectable position. Also for the first time in Vladivostok club history, they reached the quarter-finals of the Russian Cup.

After refusing several offers from European teams, he signed for Alicante CF as a physical trainer and assistant manager, in addition to being the coordinator of the youth football at club.[4]
