Francistown Stadium

Francistown Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Francistown, Botswana. It is used mostly for football matches and will host the home matches of TAFIC. The stadium has a capacity of 26,000[1] people. Due to delays and mismanagement, the stadium could not be completed in time for the 2010 World Cup as initially planned.

On 6 August 2015, Francistown Stadium was finally opened, with a capacity of 26,500. It hosted its first ever game on 5 September 2015 between Botswana and Burkina Faso, in the 2017 Afcon qualifiers. Botswana won the game 1-0. [2]
