GKS Katowice – is a Polish professional volleyball team, based in Katowice. The club was promoted to the highest level of Polish volleyball league - PlusLiga in 2016.[1]

History

After one season 2014/15 in 1st league of Polish volleyball league, GKS Katowice joined PlusLiga and made its debut with Łuczniczka Bydgoszcz on October 2, 2016. Piotr Gruszka was announced a new head coach of team.[2] Then a few notable players joined the team.[3]
