The fourteenth series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle upon Tyne was confirmed on 31 October 2016 when it announced that cast member Scotty T would be taking a break from the series. The series is expected to begin in 2017. The series was filmed in November 2016. Ahead of the series, as well as Scott taking a break, it was reported that original cast member Holly Hagan had quit the show.[1][2] It was also reported that five new cast members would be joining; Sarah Goodhart who had previously appeared during the third series of Ex on the Beach, where she turned up as the ex of now Geordie Shore cast member Marty McKenna.[3] Also joining the series are Zahida Allen, who is also set to appear on the sixth series of Ex on the Beach,[4] Abbie Holborn,[5] Eve Shannon,[6] and Billy Phillips.[7] However, MTV are yet to confirm these reports.
