Georges Urbain (12 April 1872 – 5 November 1938 in Paris) French chemist, professor of Sorbonne. He studied at the elite École supérieure de physique et de chimie industrielles de la ville de Paris (ESPCI ParisTech).[1] He discovered the element lutetium (number 71) in 1907.
