Georgetown American University is a private institution in Georgetown, Guyana. It was established in November 2013 while classes commenced June 2014.
Accreditation
GAU is registered with the National Accreditation Council of Guyana.[1] It is listed in FAIMER International Medical Education Directory (IMED) and World Health Organization.
Programs offered
GAU has three faculties: School of Medicine, School of Nursing and School of Dentistry. The programs offered are:
- Doctor of Medicine - 4 year program
- Associate Degree in Nursing - 2 year program
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing - 4 year program
- Doctor of Dental Surgery - 4 year program
