Gezim Kasapolli

Gezim Kasapolli (born 15 March 1976, Peć, Kosovo, then SFR Yugoslavia) is a Kosovo politician, current Deputy Minister for European Integration of Republic of Kosovo.[1] He assumed this position in 2011 after a range of various positions with many international and local organizations.

Education

Gezim Kasapolli has a degree in economics and completed the MBA program in engineering management from Vienna Technical University in cooperation with University for Business and Technology (UBT), based in Pristina, republic of Kosovo.

Career

He started his professional career working with ICTY (International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia). After that he assumed the position of Local Media Monitor with UNMIK (United Nations Mission in Kosovo), before entering the political life in 2005 when he became advisor to the Prime Minister of Kosovo. His career continued with other important positions such as Executive director of the University of business and Technology until he became Deputy Minister, position that he holds still.

Personal Life

He is married to Bora Shpuza-Kasapolli and has two daughters, Era and Vesa.
