Good Behavior is an American drama television series based on the novella series by Blake Crouch about Letty Dobesh, a con artist. TNT picked up the pilot to a 10-episode series in December 2015.[1] The series premiered on November 15, 2016.[2]

The series has been filmed, at least in part, in Wilmington, North Carolina.[3]

Overview

Letty Dobesh, a thief and con artist, is released from prison. She is faced with a restraining order of protection that restricts her ability to see her 10-year-old son, who is being raised by her mother, Estelle. She regularly sees her parole officer, Christian, who is exasperated by her attitude and actions. During a hotel room robbery Letty, hiding in the closet, overhears a hitman being hired to kill a man's wife and sets out to prevent it, which puts her on a collision course with the killer to the point of involvement in subsequent "hits" and starting a relationship with him.[1]

Reception

Good Behavior has received mostly positive reviews from television critics. Review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes reported a 86% "fresh" rating based on 21 reviews. The website's consensus reads, "Emotional manipulation aside, Good Behavior is a legitimately suspenseful and sexy drama."[13] Metacritic reported a score of 66 out of 100 based on 20 reviews, indicating "generally favorable reviews".[14]
