Goscote Wapentake

Not to be confused with Goscote, Walsall

Goscote was a wapentake of Leicestershire, England, consisting of the north and north-west of the county. It was recorded in the Domesday Book, but as the wapentakes evolved to form hundreds, was split into East Goscote hundred and West Goscote hundred in 1346.[1]

Coordinates: 52°45′N 1°06′W / 52.75°N 1.10°W / 52.75; -1.10

It is also a suburb of Walsall, West Midlands, up the road from both Coalpool and Rushall.
