Grabben Gullen

Grabben Gullen is a locality in New South Wales, Australia.[1]

It is located at the intersection of four roads, between Crookwell and Gunning. It is a former circa 1820s village.

A post office was opened on 16 December 1891.[2]

Some nine months since a petition was adopted and signed by the inhabitants of Grabben Gullen, the petition was laid aside for about three months. At the expiration of that time an answer was received that a police station would be established.[3] In 1896 the inhabitants of Grabben Gullen were again signing a petition for a police station to be established there.[4]

St. Mary’s Catholic Church at Grabben Gullen, is a Gothic style stone church built 1864-65.[5] St. Mary’s was opened for Divine Service in December 1865. The Architect being a Mr. Gordon.[6]
