Gromadka [ɡrɔˈmatka] (German: Gremsdorf) is a village in Bolesławiec County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] It is the seat of the administrative district (gmina) called Gmina Gromadka. Prior to 1945 it was in Germany. After World War II the region was placed under Polish administration and ethnically cleansed according to the post-war Potsdam Agreement. The native German populace was expelled and replaced with Poles.
It lies approximately 17 km (11 mi) north-east of Bolesławiec, and 93 km (58 mi) west of the regional capital Wrocław.
The village has an approximate population of 2,150.
From 1975 to 1998 Gromadka was in Legnica Voivodeship.
