Gvar'am (Hebrew: גְּבַרְעָם) is a kibbutz in southern Israel, It is located around 12 kilometres from Ashkelon on the road to Yad Mordechai, it falls under the jurisdiction of Hof Ashkelon Regional Council. In 2015 it had a population of 372.
History
The kibbutz was established in 1942. It has been targeted by Hamas rockets for many years. A rocket killed the mother-in-law of actor Paul Kaye, a resident of the kibbutz, in 2008.[2]
