The Hörmann KG, headquartered in Steinhagen in Ostwestfalen, Germany is manufacturer of gates and doors.[1]
History
The predecessor company Bielefelder Stahltore ("Bielefeld steel doors") was founded in 1935 by August Hörmann (1886–1944) in Bielefeld.
The family-run Hörmann Group is now run in the third and fourth generations of grandchildren and great-grandchildren of the founder. General partners are Thomas J. Hörmann, Martin J. Hörmann and Christoph Hörmann.
Production sites
The Hörmann Group produces in 14 production sites in Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, China, France, Austria, Poland, the UK, India and the US.
