HD 205739 is a yellow-white dwarf (spectral type F7 V). It is about 108 parsecs away from the Sun.[1]
A Jupiter-like planet has recently been detected in a Mercury-like eccentric orbit around this star.
There is a trend in the results which may point to an additional companion further from its star.[2]
