Hadena capsincola is a moth of the Noctuidae family. It was described by Denis & Schiffermuller in 1775. It is found from Siberia to central Europe.[1]

The wingspan is 26–34 mm. The ground colour is black-brownish. There is one to three generation(s) per year.[2]

The larvae feed on Silene species, including Silene vulgaris and Silene alba. The species overwinters in the pupal stage.[3]

Taxonomy

Hadena capsincola was previously treated as a synonym of Hadena bicruris.
