Hannah Alper is a Canadian activist, blogger, and motivational speaker who addresses issues such as the environment, anti-bullying, and social justice.[1] Alper has traveled North America as a motivational speaker and works with non-profit organizations such as World Wildlife Fund, Bystander Revolution, We Day, and Free the Children.

History

Alper launched her blog, CallMeHannah.ca, when she was nine years old.[2] She was the official eco-blogger for The JUNO Awards in 2013 and 2014.[3] Alper is a finalist in the youth category (17 years-old and under) for the Nature Inspiration Awards, taking place at the Canadian Museum of Nature in Ottawa. She was recognized with a nomination in the Digi Awards for Best Content For Kids category, along with McDonald's and Family Channel.

Alper is a Huffington Post writer,[4] and has given a TED talk on the topic "How to find your spark".[5]

In a past interview, Hannah delivers her key message: "No matter how young you are, you can make a difference and you can be the change. You can find your spark and you can ignite it".[6]
