Harmeet Singh Sandhu is an Indian politician. He belongs to the ruling Shiromani Akali Dal party. He is a member of the Punjab Legislative Assembly and represents Tarn Taran.[1][2]
Family
Sandhu's father's name is Sardar Surjit Singh.[3]
Political career
Sandhu was elected to the Punjab Legislative Assembly from Tarn Taran in 2002 as an independent candidate.[4] In 2007, he successfully contested as Akali Dal candidate from Taran Tarn.[5] In June 2011, he was appointed the Chief Parliamentary Secretary.[6] He was re-elected to the Punjab Assembly in 2012.[1]
